New Transit vans delivered to Lewis Day

20 brand new Long Wheel Base Transit Vans were delivered to Lewis Day in May 2009. Theses vans will be seen in a majority of our depots around the country.
Long Wheelbase Transit Vans have a load length of 3399 mm and maximum cube is 11.89 cu. m, with gross payloads up to 1737kg.

Lewis Day's van fleet includes:
Small Van
Our fleet of small vans carry loads up to 600kg, which may be a singlepallet, or a maximum of 40 A4 cartons . These vehicles are well suited to transporting smaller loads within city destinations.
Transit Van
Our fleet of transit vans loads up to 3 europallets, load length goes up to 2582mm with gross payloads up to 1200kg. Our vans are also fitted with hanging rails for carrying garments.
LWB Transit Van
Our fleet of long wheel base transit vans load up to 4 europallets, load length goes up to 3399 mm with gross payloads up to 1500kg.
Luton Van
Our fleet of luton vans have electric tail-lifts to facilitate ease of loading & unloading. Gross Payload up to 750kg.
