Lewis Day takes part in Capital Radio's 2008 Christmas Appeal
Posted: 30 January, 2009
The Capital Christmas Appeal was in aid of Capital's very own charity Help a London Child and they were raising money to fund a project by Missing People, the UK's only charity that works with young runaways, missing and unidentified people and their families.
'We were delighted to be able to help with one of the auction items in the form of a chauffeur-driven limousine, as part of Capital Radio's Jingle Bell Ball auction package which raised 10,000 pounds'.
The money raised will go towards keeping the Runaway Helpline going for the first year, providing vital emotional support and practical advice for some of the most vulnerable children in our city enabling them to either get back home or to a place of safety.
